PausePoint Engineering ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use our mobile application, Oops, I forgot (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Local Data Storage

The App is designed to be "local-first." Most of the data you generate, including:

• Recipes
• Meal plans
• Pantry inventory
• Shopping lists

is stored directly on your device using a local database. We do not have access to this data unless you explicitly choose to share it (if such features are available) or via crash reports as described below.

1.2 Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

We use Sentry to help us identify and fix crashes and errors in the App. When the App crashes or experiences a significant error, a report is automatically sent to Sentry. This report may include:

• Device information (model, operating system version)
• App version
• Stack traces (technical details of what the code was doing)
• Basic logs

We have configured Sentry to not send personally identifiable information (PII) by default. These reports are used solely for debugging and improving the stability of the App.

1.3 Third-Party Services

Google Fonts: The App uses Google Fonts to display text. When the App loads a font, your device creates a connection to Google's servers. Google may collect your IP address to serve these fonts. For more information, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the limited information we collect (crash reports) to:

• Identify and fix software bugs.
• Improve the performance and stability of the App.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others.

3. Data Retention

• Local Data: Data stored on your device remains there until you delete it or uninstall the App.
• Crash Reports: Data sent to Sentry is retained for a limited period (typically 90 days) and then deleted.

4. Your Rights

Since most data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it. You can delete your data by deleting items within the App or by uninstalling the App.

For any data that might be processed by our third-party partners (like Sentry), you may have rights under applicable laws (such as the GDPR or UK Data Protection Act 2018) to request access to or deletion of your data.

5. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
